    • MULLIGAN, Sister Mary Josephine SOLI

      Of H Wview Road, Cambridge, on Sunday, June 9, 1996, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Sister Josephine was born in Quyon, Que. and entered the Convent (September 29, 1937) of the Gray Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Pembroke. Nineteen years ago she founded the Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph and in 1979 she brought the new community to Cambridge. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mulligan (nee O'Reilly) who after her husband's death entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Pembroke and followed that life for 30 years. Dearly missed by brothers and sisters, Athol (Margaret) of Quyon, Que., Joseph of Garson, Elizabeth (Mrs. Bert Laronde) of Sudbury, Brother Bernard Mulligan, OMI, of Ottawa, Sister Mary Mulligan, GSIC, of Ottawa, John (Margaret) and Philip (Peggy), all of Aylmer, Que. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Elise, Darlene, Edith and Ardele. Many nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews also survive. Predeceased by five brothers, Edgar, Andrew, William, Frank and Terrence and two sisters-in-law, Ruth and Beth. Sister Josephine will be resting at the chapel of the Marian Residence, 640 Hillview Rd., Cambridge, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The rosary will be recited at the chapel, at 8: 30 p.m., this evening (Tuesday). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge on Wednesday, June 12, 1996, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
