      Peacefully, on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at home with her family by her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 53. Jessie was born on December 2, 1950, in Bishop's Cove, Nfld. and was the loving wife of William (Bill). Devoted and loving mother of Edward (Eddie) and her precious "COCO." Dear sister of Eli (Effie) Melrose, Marion Benson and her late husband Wally, Robbin (Lima), Lincoln (Betty). Dearest sister-in-law of Noreen O'Brien (John) Glenda Bursey (Jim), Joey (Vanita) and the late Edward (Donna) and Ronald Sid (Doris). Jessie was survived by many nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly, as well as "Aunt Jean" and she was a special friend to many. Jessie was predeceased by her parents, Leander (1974) and Myrtle (1997) as well as her brothers, Joe, Abe and sisters, Annie Bradbury, Becky Smith. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, July 25, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a parish Rosary at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, July 26, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
