  BAST, Gerald Henry March 11, 1948. Passed away peacefully, at home on April 30, 2011, in his 64th year, in the loving arms of his wife Debbie and son Rob. Much loved husband and soul mate of Debbie Wilkins. Loving Dad and best friend to Rob Bast. Also survived by Rob's mother Wendy Turner and husband Jeff Hazelgrove. Brother of Jean Kampferseck (Herb) of Kitchener. Brother-in-law of Gay Bast of Cambridge. Friend and father figure to Rob's best friend Mike Mallette. Friend to Debbie's sons Corey and Chad. Loving Uncle to Melanie (Hugh), Leane (Jay), Kathy (Jody), Jeff (Tracy), Erin, Mike (Shelley), and Stephanie (Derek). Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Stella Bast and his brothers, Ron and Dan Bast. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be conducted at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, 3164 Ninth Line (403 and Dundas St.), Mississauga/Oakville, ON.
