  BOTELHO, Joao Luis Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at the age of 75. Loving and devoted husband of Diamantina Botelho (nee Mota Paz). Cherished father of Gil and his wife Emily, and Paul and his wife Linda. Special grandfather of Brian, David and Katarina. Brother of the late Flo Botelho, Adelaide (Gil) Lopes, Maria (Manuel) Borges and Adelina (the late Francisco) Cimbron. Joao will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Jose and Maria Botelho. Joao was born on December 27, 1936, in St. Miguel, Azores, Portugal and arrived in Cambridge, on April 20, 1970. He was a 33 year employee of Hostess Frito-Lay. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family received friends on Sunday, August 26, 2012, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, was be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge, on Monday, August 27, 2012, at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Parklawn Cemetery.
