- BUTLER, Roy (Butch)
At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, in his 59th year. Beloved husband and confidant of Barb and dear father and best friend of James and his girlfriend Patti. Beloved brother of Joe Butler and wife Pam of Cambridge; Inez Boehme and husband Siggy of London and Yvonne Stone and husband Jim of Wingham. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, George Sr. and Emma Butler and his brother, George Jr. and sister, Nona Robichaud. Roy was the President and longest employee of Custom Aluminum Foundry Limited. He was a member of the Canadian Foundry Association and the American Foundrymens Society. He was a member of the Galt Legion Branch 121, President of Galt Road Rajahs Car Club, a long time volunteer with the Cambridge Minor Hockey, Cambridge Minor Softball and a member of the Festival of Friendship Hockey Tournament Committee. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where friends will be received on Wednesday (today) 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 17, 2005, at 1 p.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
