  MONIZ, Maria Medeiros (formerly of Sao Miguel, Azores) Passed away, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, January 11, 2008, at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Ernesto Carreiro. Beloved mother of Lourdes Louro (Anibal), Ernesto Carreiro (Rosanna) and Aldina Andre (John) and the late Jose Carreiro. Will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law, Julieta Carreiro. Dear grandmother of Ernie, Gary, Gene, Debbie, Vanessa, Mark, Roger, Suzie and eight great-grandchildren. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, at 7: 30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Ambrose RC Church, South Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
