  CHAVES, Emilia Soares de Bairos Passed away peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the age of 77. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Manuel Chaves. Cherished mother of Leonilde "Lee" and her husband Vincente Braga and Joseph Chaves. Proud grandmother of Roger (Fiona), Dianna, Michael, Joey and Jamie and great-grandmother of Chloe and Felipe. Emilia will also be sadly missed by her sister, Deolinda (Antonio) Bairos, her brother, Antonio (Maria) Bairos, as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her sister Maria Moreira. Rested at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where family and friends were received on Monday, November 14, 2016, from 7-9 p.m. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, was celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge, on Tuesday November 15, 2016, at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Parklawn Cemetery.
