      Each time we saw you, you smiled ... our memories of that smile give us strength. On Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 75th year, Rose (nee Cooper), beloved wife of the late ,Alfred Marriott (1992). Beloved mother of Geoff Marriott and his wife Linda of Cambridge, Ann Girling and her husband Andy of St. Clements, Paul Marriott and his wife Hediye of Kitchener and Glenn Marriott and his wife Michelle of Kitchener. Dear Nana to Ken, Rob and Sherry, Ryan, Shane, Jessica, Alex, Rachel, Kyle, Liam and her great-grandson, Everett. Sister of Irene Hartley and her husband Harry, Elsie Mussenden and her husband Harry, all of England and the late Alice and her husband Tom Horne of Australia. For many years, Rose and Alf were good friends to members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 126 in Preston. Friends will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount), Kitchener, from 12-1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18. Memorial service in the chapel Friday, at 1 p.m. Committal service at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge, Friday afternoon.
