  THE NEW FIRE BRIGADE The new fire brigade is composed of the following members:- Frank Seibert, chief; Daniel Boettger, driver; Michael Massell, John Treusch, Charles Koehn, Eugen Hirteis, Otto Koehn, John W. Rhodes, Isaak Dickmann, Adam Denges, Michael Heintzmann, Leander Klaehn, John H. Mayer, and Henry Tiehle. The chief is responsible for his underlings and has full authority over them. There were 23 applications on hand for the vacant positions. The members of the new fire brigade are not allowed to drink beer in the firehall. This is a commendable regulation.
