Of Cambridge, passed away, on Monday, February 2, 2004, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Pearl Goad. Dear father of Brian and his wife Roza and Sandra Wilton and her husband Paul, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Survived by three sisters, Hilda Charlton, Pearl Bowes and Pauline Dextrase. Predeceased by his parents, John and Emily Cunningham; brothers, John, Horace and Norman Burt and sisters, Helen Koebel and Doris Ross. Mr. Cunningham was born in Blackburn, England and had been a resident of the area for the past 80 years. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126, served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was retired from the Cambridge Fire Department. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at St. John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Saturday, February 7, 2004, at 11 a.m. with Canon David Bowyer officiating. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
