- WEHRLE, Francis Paul - It is with great sadness we announce the loss of Fran Wehrle, on Saturday, June 24, 2006, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Fran was the beloved husband of Joan (Schultz), dear father of Cindy (Joe) Colby of Acton, Lori (Brian) Ariss of Cambridge and Craig (Akiko) Wehrle of Yokohama, Japan; Loving papa to Tyler, Megan, Jordan, Christopher, Mallory, Lauren; Brother of Ross Wehrle, Peter Wehrle (Barbara), Mary Lou (Jim) Bollen, Julianne (Larry) Main and Darlene Davies. Sadly missed by mother-in-law, Jean Schultz; and brothers-in-law, Dave (Helen) Schultz and Bill Schultz. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Katherine (Lamb) Wehrle and father-in-law, Leonard Schultz; siblings, Rosemarie Quessy, Michael Wehrle and Joseph Wehrle. Francis was a proud member of St. Clement's RC Church and a Retired Staff Sergeant of the Waterloo Regional Police, member of the Preston and Galt Legion, and active member of the Kinsmen Club of Preston and Puslinch Golf Course. The family received friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and will again today (Tuesday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8: 30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Cystic Fibrosis Research on behalf of the Kinsmen Club of Preston would be appreciated by the family.
