  • Notes
    • FACH, Cecile Marie

The air is still, her golden heart has stopped, but she will forever remain in our hearts and memories. Cecile Marie Fach passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the age of 91. Reunited now in heaven with her husband of over 50 years, Arnold Fach. Everyone who knew Cecile will remember her loving warmth, her generous spirit and her kind soul. Cecile served in World War II as a Wren and volunteered her time at the St. Vincent de Paul organization, in Cambridge. She was also a lifelong member of St. Clement's Church and a devout Catholic. She enjoyed gardening, cleaning and folding towels (they felt good in her hands!), but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Cecile is deeply missed by her children; Linda, Alfred (Ruth) and Brian. She will be lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Helen (Eddie) and her brothers; John Paul and Rodger. Cecile was sadly predeceased by her granddaughter, Melissa (in infancy) and many sisters and brothers. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation on Monday, January 30, 2017, from 2: 00 p.m. to 5: 00 p.m., at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, ON). Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at St. Clement's Catholic Church (745 Duke St., Cambridge, ON) at 11: 00 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery.
