  THIES, Elizabeth Katharina (nee Falkenberg) Passed away peacefully, with family by her side on Friday, July 20, 2018, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 90th year. Reunited with her beloved husband, Eric (2012). Loving mother of Alex (Laura) and Alfred. Dear Oma to Tyler (Rebecca) and Brandon (Jessica). Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Herbert Falkenberg (Juliette), her sister, Hildegarde Bartholemy (Romain), sister-in-law, Erika Falkenberg and many nieces and nephews. She was also "Oma" to many other close family, especially Tim and Carrie Overholt and their children Amanda, Joshua and Jake and Tammy Wanklin and her children Chloe, Drew and Brooke. She was also predeceased by her parents, Henri and Anna Falkenberg and her twin brother, Peter Falkenberg. Many people will remember her for the special way she welcomed everyone into both her home and family. Friends may call on the family at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, July 25th from 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be said at 8: 45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 11 a.m. Burial at Parklawn Cemetery will follow.
