- THORMAN, Margery (nee Ramsay)
Peacefully, passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Harold Thorman (1973). Predeceased by her daughter Helen Thorman McLean (2002) and her husband Stuart McLean (1986). Loving mother of John Thorman (Janice) and Shirley Bowman (Gary). Cherished grandmother of John (Tara), Jeff (Michelle) and Tim (Kayrn), Shawn Bowman and Colin Bowman (Rachel) and their daughter Emma, and fondly remembered by ten great grandchildren. Margery was a life time active member of King Street Baptist Church. Our Mum was a very gifted, talented mother who influenced a lot of people in her life. She was a 3rd generation wedding cake baker and a beautiful quilter. She was the cafeteria manager at Preston High School for 17 year and is fondly remembered as Mrs. T. After the death of our father, she opened Etcetera Shop in 1975. Margery lived independently until her express promotion to heaven on May 1, to join her loved ones. Private family services will be conducted at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener,
