  THORNTON, Violet "Darlene" (nee Mustard) Suddenly, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday, December 19, 2011, at the age of 61. Loving and devoted wife of Larry Thornton. Cherished mother of Teresa Jowett and Lawrence Thornton and his wife Julia. Special grandmother of Teegan and Tanaya Jowett and Garrett and Everett Thornton. Darlene will also be sadly missed by her brother Kenneth Mustard, her special nephew, Ken Mustard, niece Wanda Mustard as well many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Violet Mustard as well as her niece, Serena Smith. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
