Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at St Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, in her 58th year. Beloved wife of Brian Schnider. Loving mother of Brian Schnider Jr., Kim Taylor and her husband Richard, all of Cambridge. Dear grandmother of Brileigh, Hannah, Devin and Samantha. Also survived by her brothers, Bruce and his wife Diane of Whitby, Andrew of Oshawa, William and his wife Deanna of Oshawa, Tim and his wife Linda of Orno and sisters, Jan Fyke and her husband Robert of Ajax, Jacki Devolin and her husband Eric of Oshawa; mother-in-law, Ruth Schnider of Cambridge; sisters-in-law, Judy Bray and her husband Barry of Mississauga, Dr. Denise Schnider of Brantford and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, William and Elsie Skelton. Leanne was born on November 15, 1949, in Toronto and has lived in Cambridge for the past 15 years. A member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and very active in her church, a member of the senior bowling club, in Kitchener and volunteered with Cambridge Community Living. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 810 King Street East, Cambridge on Thursday, August 7, 2008, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
