  SCHRUMM, Lois Jean It is with great sadness, the family of Lois Jean (Shantz) Schrumm announces her passing at home on November 16, 2011. Born in Toronto June 20, 1921, she moved to Preston, where she met and married Russell (Bummer) Schrumm (deceased 1985). Predeceased by her brothers Robin, Arnold and Douglas and one sister Marjorie Singleton. Left to mourn are her sons Jim (Christine) of B.C. and their children, Carmen (Garth) Letcher and Lisa (Troy) Gross. Also Ted (Judy) of Preston and their children, Matthew (Andrea) and Elizabeth (Terry) Scotland. AIso five great-grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, who she was happy to visit with at her 90th birthday celebration, in June of this year. Lois was a long time employee of Union Gas. She also loved travelling with her husband and spent many enjoyable years at their trailer in Bayfield, Ont.
