Passed away peacefully, on Friday, September 15, 2006, at Lisaard House in Cambridge, Ontario, in her 72nd year. Jane leaves behind her beloved husband of 49 years, Ernie. Jane was the loving mother to Dean, Paul and Benjamin of Toronto, Jackie and Stuart of Cambridge. Sister and sister-in-law to Elaine and George of Toronto, Tony and Judy of Southampton and Joyce and Ronny from Edinburgh. She is predeceased by her loving sister Lorraine of Edinburgh. Jane leaves behind many nieces and nephews, in both Canada and Scotland and many friends in both countries, as well. Jane and her best friend Maureen "Moe" arrived in Toronto from Scotland in 1956. In 1999, Jane and Ernie moved to Cambridge to enjoy their retirement years, where she was very happy. As per Jane's wishes, there will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, September 23, 2006, at the home of Paul and Benjamin in Toronto, where all family and friends are welcome, from 2-6 p.m. Ernie, Dean and Paul would like to offer a very special and heartfelt thank you to the absolutely amazing and wonderful staff at Lisaard House.
