Peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 9, 2012, in her 79th year. Dear mother of Keith (Donna) and Darren (Diana) all of Calgary, grandmother to Benjamin and Alex and great-grandmother to Maia, Aria and Willow. Jean will be sadly missed by her brother, Brian Staveley (the late Christine) of Cambridge and extended families in England, France and Spain. Predeceased by her husband Bill on August 22, 2010; her parents, Thomas and Rose Staveley (nee Yeoman) and her sisters; Pearl, Coral, Peggy and Pat. Heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Triage Department at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, for their compassion and kindness. Family and friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 556 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Saturday, from 10: 00 a.m. Memorial Service to celebrate Jean's life will commence at 11: 00 a.m. in the chapel, with Canon David Bowyer officiating, refreshments and a time of fellowship to follow. Private inurnment has taken place at Parklawn Cemetery.
