      It is with great sadness that the family of Molly Steel announces her passing after a difficult battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Vern; loving mother of Jennifer and her husband Adam Givertz; devoted grandmother of Jacob, Benjamin and Ellie and dear sister of Helen Jordan. Molly was predeceased by her mother, Mayme Nichol; her father, Walter Nichol; her sister, Jean Bowman and her brother, Jack Nichol. Molly will be missed by family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Lisaard House who cared for Molly in her final days. A memorial service was held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, followed by interment at Park Lawn Cemetery in Cambridge.
