  REBELO, Arthur Soares Peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at the age of 87. Predeceased by his beloved wife Teresa. Cherished father of Elizabeth Campbell (Don) of Cambridge, Jerome (Verna) of Cambridge, Dominic (Glenda) of Ottawa and Arthur (Kim) of Barrie. Special grandfather of Terri (Nathan), Julie, April (Shaun), Jeffrey, Brittany, Joshua and Alannah, as well as great-grandchildren, Tyra, Abby, Izabella, Prestin and Lelan. Arthur will also be sadly missed by his brother, Jose Rebelo of Fall River, Mass. Predeceased by his siblings. Arthur was one of the first Portuguese immigrants to Cambridge, arriving in 1954 and this is forever memorialized on a plaque in downtown Cambridge, at Queen's Square. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, July 8, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, on Monday, July 9, 2012, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
