  RESENDE, Manuel Teles Passed away peacefully, at his residence on Saturday, June 15, 2013, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Maria Marcelino. Loving father of Julie Defretas (John) of Cambridge, Olga Peteira (Antonio) of Mississauga, Nela Mawdsley (David); of Puslinch. Also survived by his six loving grandchildren, David, Vanessa, Deborah, Erik, Scott and Laura, also by his brother, Antonio in Portugal. Manuel was born in Ilhavo Portugal on February 3, 1936 and has lived in Cambridge, since 1973. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church 185 Elgin St. S., Cambridge on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 9: 30 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
