  RESENDES, Manuel Passed away at Stirling Heights Nursing Home, Cambridge, on Thursday, January 18, 2007, at the age of 88. Manuel immigrated to Canada in 1964 from Santa Maria, Azores. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Maria Resendes, children Maria Eugina Camara (John), Jose Resendes (Fatima), Antonio Resendes (Gabriella), Manuel Resendes (Shelley), Adelaide Barros (Raul). Manuel will be missed by his grandchildren, Noemia, Danny, Jason, Jerry, Jessica, Lucilia, Philip, Amanda, Tanya, Sharon, Mike and great grandchildren Victoria, Laura and Bianca. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends tonight (Saturday) 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday evening, at 7: 30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elgin Street South, on Monday, January 22, 2007, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
