      Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, at Fairview Mennonite Home, on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, in his 86th year. Doug was loving husband for 64 years to Audrey (Kelly). Beloved father of Gloria Butler (Jim) and Douglas Jr. (Claire) and Papa to eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Brother to Kay Kempthorne (Harry), Vera (Babe) MacKilligan and Bernice Scott and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Beatrice Parker; brother, Edward (Red) and brother-in-law, David Scott. Mr. Parker, was born in Brantford, on March 13, 1920 and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Veteran of the Second World War, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Preston Branch 126 and a retired maintenance foreman, with Butler Metal Products. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2005, at St. John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge, at 1 p.m., with Canon David Bowyer officiating. A private inurnment will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
