      At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday January 19, 2004, in his 83rd year. Mel Parsons of Cambridge, is the beloved husband of Annie Parsons (nee LeMoine). Dear brother of Ada Dawson and her husband Don, Chester Parsons and his wife Marjorie, Roy Parsons and his wife Clara and Myrtle Caldwell and her husband Fred, all of Cambridge. Clarence will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Mel Parsons (2001) and his parents, Maude and George Parsons. Mr. Parsons was a retired employee of George Hancock Textile, retiring after over 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Army. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 22, 2014, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment to follow in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
