      Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, peacefully, after a lengthy battle with alzheimers, in her 89th year. Josephine Pawelko. beloved wife of the late Raymond Golka. Dear mother of Kevin Golka and his wife Patricia Heise of Ottawa and Darlene Micher of Kitchener. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Tyler and Jessica. Survived by one brother, Harry Powell. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Anna Pawelko, two brothers, John and Frank and one sister, Katherine Baranski. Mrs. Golka, was born in Preston and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church, the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126 and the Maycourt Club. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Saturday, October 29, 2005, at 10 a.m. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
