      Passed away Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, December 4, 2003. William (Bill) Jamieson, in his 89th year. Survived by his devoted wile Reena (Franklin): proud father of Jack (Bev) Jamieson or Cambridge and Wayne (Maureen) Jamieson of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Kendra, Scott, Brian and Julie. Predeceased by his sister, Marguerite Etter. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Bill worked with General Electric, for 18 years, in Montreal and Toronto and then moved on to open Jamieson TV and Appliances, in downtown Galt. Bill finished his career as Canadian Sales Manager for Allen Bradley Canada, after 18 years of service. Bill was a member of Knox Preston Presbyterian Church and past member of the Galt Shiners Club. He was also President of the Retail Board of Trade and had served on Galt City Council. Next to his family, golfing was the love of his life. He was a long time member of the Galt Country Club, obtaining 3 holes in one. Bill is resting at the Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, on Sunday, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning, at 11 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery.
