      Of Cambridge, on Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Margaret O'Brien for 46 years. Dear father of Edward and his wife Karen, Joseph and his wife Susanne, Thomas Kavanagh and Leslie Boehmer, all of Cambridge, Barry and his wife Donna of Innerkip, Ellen Bartlett and her husband Bart, Debbie Kavanagh and Willie Hiscott and Jeannie Kavanagh, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, Ryan, Alexandria, Dwayne, Jonathan, Connor, Elisha, Amanda, Kastyl, Jed, Kyla, Erin, Sarah, and Ryzin. Survived by two brothers, Alphonse of Cambridge and Don and his wife Barb of Barrie and five sisters, Mary Craig and her husband Aiden of Newfoundland, Carmel O'Keefe of Florida, Madeline Fitzpatrick and her husband Vince of Georgetown, Frances Clark and the late Eli of Toronto and Veronica Bilodeau and her husband Yvone of Cambridge and sister-in-law, Elaine Kavanagh. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Margaret Kavanagh and one brother, Robert. Mr. Kavanagh was born in Belle Island, Newfoundland and had been a resident of Cambridge for the past 43 years. He was a member of St. Clement's R.C. Church, a retired welder from Eastern Steel and a former volunteer of the Preston Fire Department. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
