  LANO1E, Alan Paul Passed away with his family by his side on Saturday. October 27, 2007, after a long courageous battle at the age of 44. Beloved husband of Rita Lanoie and step-father to Leslie King of Cambridge. Darryl King (Angie) of B. G. and Cory King and Tamara Warren of Kitchener. Loving Grandfather to Cierra, Lukas, Tiana, Alexandra, Stephen and Christopher. Dear son of Estras Lanoie, step-mother Jeanie of Rhode Island: brother of Karen Reid (Billy) of San Antonio and brother in-law of Terri Hall (Jim) of Guelph and Raymond Alexander (Linda) of Manuels, NFLD. Predeceased by his mother, Paulette. Missed by Aunt Pauline, Uncle Paul Lanoie (Diane), Uncle Butch Boucher (Priscilla) and many more family and friends. Alan was born in Rhode Island on September 15, 1963, but soon left there to live in Kerville, Texas, where he remained until he moved to Newfoundland in 1992 to be with Rita. From Newfoundland Alan his wife Rita and son Cory, moved to Ontario, in 1994, to be closer to their family. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 31, 2007, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 1, at 11 a.m. The Record Newspaper 29 Oct 2007 pg B7
