1942 - 2012. Gloria died peacefully, surrounded by her family, at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2012. at the age of 69. She was the beloved wife of the late Bert Dueck; dear mother of Deborah Wagner and her partner Peter Pasiecznik of Orillia, Jeffery Dueck and his wife Trish of Toronto, Karen Medlicott and her husband Tom of Breslau, Sandra Noecker and her husband Rod, John Dueck and his late wife Tena and James Dueck. all of Kitchener. Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ashley, Jessica, Ryan, Danielle, Stephanie, Chelsea, Jennifer, Dawson, Sarah and great-granddaughter Madison; sisters. Lillian Walker (predeceased) of Detroit and Florida, Doris Bygrave (predeceased) of New Hamburg, Linda Mcquigan of Hamilton; brothers Ernest Billyard (predeceased) of Nevada, Ken Billyard of Dunnville, Bob Billyard (predeceased) of Trenton; brothers-in-law Hal Dueck and his wife Pinky of Dana Point, California, Bill Dueck and his wife Brenda of Penn Yan, New York. along with many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her parents. Jessie and Milo and a granddaughter Candice. Gloria was a warm and compassionate caregiver to her daycare children, for over 25 years and considered them all her very own. The family wishes to acknowledge the incredible and compassionate care given by the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospital. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gloria with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, February 16, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Gloria's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, February 17, 2012, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Ed Janzen officiating, followed by a reception in the funeral home.
