  DURANT, Ronald (Ron) Francis Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving daughter, Cathy Fischer and family, at Saint Luke's Place, Cambridge, Ontario, on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at the age of 84. Ron is survived by his four children, cherished grandchildren; Matt, Becky, Natalie, Candice, Michelle, Shawn, six great-grandchildren, sisters; Shirley (Chuck) and Sylvia and brother-in-law, Earl. Predeceased by his wife Marion (nee Easter) Durant (May 23, 2012), son-in-law, Mark Fischer (March 9, 2009), parents Acil Durant and Frances (nee Lee) Church, sister Lorraine Service and brothers; Doug and Al Durant. A special thank you to the entire staff at both Saint Luke's Place and Riverbend Retirement Residence for their loving care. The family received friends at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario on Sunday, May 24, 2015, from 2: 00-4: 00 p.m. and 7: 00-9: 00 p.m. A funeral service was held at the funeral home, on Monday, May 25, 2015, at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation followed.
