    • Jantzi, Aaron W., son of Christian B. and Barbara (Wagler) Jantzi, was born in Wilmot Twp., Pa., May 4, 1898; died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Aug. 31, 1980; aged 82 y. On Feb. 7, 1922, he was married to Sarah Leis, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Lloyd and Ralph), 2 daughters (Mabel-Mrs. Andrew Steckly and Norma-Mrs. Arthur Steckly), 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother (Allan) and one sister (Mary-Mrs. Christian Schwartzentruber). He was a member of Crosshill Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at Maple View Mennonite Church in charge of Elmer Schwartzentruber.

      JANTZI, Aaron W. -- Passed away on Sunday, August 31, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.

      He was born in Wilmot township 82 years ago. He was the founder of Wellesley brand apple butter and cider products. He also operated the Wellesley Lumber Mill from 1935 to 1944 and was the operator of the John Deere dealership in Wellesley.

      He is survived by his wife, the former Sarah Leis and two sons, Lloyd and Ralph; two daughters, Mabel (Mrs. Andrew Steckly) and Norma (Mrs. Arthur Steckly), all of Wellesley; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Christian B. Jantzi and the former Barbara Wagler; also by one brother and one sister.

      The late Mr. Jantzi is resting at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home in Wellesley until noon on Wednesday when removal will be made to Maple View Mennonite Church for a memorial service 2 p.m. Rev. Elmer Schwartzentruber will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
