Of Preston, Cambridge, has been reunited with her loving husband, Art, and her son, Jim. She passed away peacefully, in her 92nd year at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener on Monday, March 24, 2014. Eva will be missed by her daughters, Laurie (Harry) Marrone of Kitchener and Susan Toffner of Waterloo. She will be fondly remembered by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who knew her as Oma, Jenny and Simon Fanning of Cambridge and their children, Sofia, Rowan and Chloe, Trish and Christopher Coupal of Waterloo and their children, Evan, Leah and Will, Mark and Tracey Toffner of Wawa and their children, Logan, Carson, Hayden and Samantha, Julie Fach of Cambridge and Jeff Fach of Hamilton. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Anna Dvorachek, brothers Massey (Matt) and Tony Dvorachek and is survived by sisters-in-law, Joan Dvorachek of Cambridge and Dale Dvorachek of Peterborough. She is also survived by Paul Haist of Toronto and Kathryn Haist of Kitchener. Eva was a lifelong member of St. Clement's Church and C.W.L. and in her lifetime, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading and cooking, as well as, watching the Blue Jays and tennis and spending time with her family. Relatives and friends were received on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, from 9: 30 -10: 30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at ST. CLEMENTS CHURCH, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge at 11 a.m.
