  FERNANDES, Gil - (formerly of Sao Miguel, Azores) Passed away at Riverbend Place, Cambridge, on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, at the age of 93. Loving husband of Maria Conceicao Fernandes. Beloved father of Tina Trindade (Carlos), Mario (Lucy), Roberto (Helen), Luis (Joana), all of Cambridge, Gil (Deolinda), Manuel (Angelina), Hermina and Aldora (Jose), all in Sao Miguel and Isidro (Natalia) in Fall River, Mass. Cherished grandfather of 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother, Manuel Fernandes and sister, Urania Cordeiro. Predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Wednesday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elgin Street South, Cambridge, on Thursday, February 1, 2007, at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
