  FIRKO, Boleslaw Passed away August 15, 2003, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 75th year. Survived by his wife, Joan (nee Snell), his daughters, Helen and Stella. Remembered by his sister-in-laws, Jadwiga and Wanda; his nephews, Andrew, Mark, Gregorz and their families and his nieces, Dorota, Margozia and their families. Predeceased by his daughter, Leona, brothers Jan, Stanislaw and Czeslaw and his parents, Leon and Kazmiera. Boleslaw was born in Horodniki, Poland, served in General Anders Forces in WW II and was an active member of the Polish Alliance Branch 627. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge) today (Monday), August 13, 2003, from 7-9 p.m. A mass of Celebration will take place at St. Clements's RC Church (745 Duke Street, Cambridge) on Tuesday, August 19, 2003, at 10 a.m. Private family interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
