  FISHER, Joan (nee Leudy) Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on November 30, 1941, passed away in the comfort of her own home, with the company of her two loving daughters, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, after a 2-1/2 year battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father Louie Leudy and mother Annie Mae Leudy (nee Smith), brothers Phillip, Frank and Gerald and twin infant daughters. Joan was both a loving mother and father, to her two daughters, Debbie and Nancy (Kory), loving grandmother and grandfather, to her two grandchildren Chantelle and Brandon (Brian) and loving great-grandmother to Trinity. She was also a loving caregiver to her furry little man, Turbo. Much loved and dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Saturday, May 23, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
