  FURTADO, Maria (nee Silva) Peacefully, at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge, on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the age of 81. Loving and devoted wife of the late Cirino Furtado (2011). Loving mother of Carl and his wife Debbie and Joe and his wife Beverley. Special grandmother of Chad (Lisa), Shawn (Caleigh), Alicia (Adam) and great-grandmother of Logan. Maria will also be sadly missed by her brothers; Fernando, Jorge both of Cambridge, Jose of California and Manuel of Azores. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Chalmers St. S. (at South St.), Cambridge, on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. Cambridge Times 5 Dec 2012
