  FURTADO, Maria Das Merces - (Formerly of St. Miguel, Azores) Passed away, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at the age of 86. Loving wife of the late Manuel Medeiros. Beloved mother of Jose, Eduardo, Gloria, Lucilia, Maria da Luz and Maria de Lurdes. Maria is the cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, Luis Manuel Medeiros. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Wednesday) 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be recited at the funeral home this evening, at 8: 30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Gregory's RC Church, St. Gregory's Drive, Cambridge, on Thursday, May 1, 2003, at 11 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery.
