It is with love and sadness we announce his passing at Cambridge Country Manor on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Frank went home to be with his Lord at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Hart), 2006. Loving father of five sons; Dwight (Marie Andrée), Scott (Colleen), Kevin (Barbara) Stephen (Hanna) and Richard (Jacqueline). Cherished grandfather of fourteen beautiful grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. Frank will also be sadly missed as a dear uncle and brother-in-law. Predeceased by his parents, Cecelia and Austin Gawne. Frank was a decorated Veteran of the Second World War and served his country in the RCAF. Family and friends will be received at Robert Ruggle Funeral Home, 617 King St. N., Waterloo on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Veteran's service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. by Branch 530 of the Royal Canadian Legion. The funeral service celebrating Frank's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. Reception will immediately follow. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
