  GOULART, Serafina February 20, 1931 - December 27, 2015, Passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Trinity Village Care Centre, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Joao Goulart. Loving mother of Nelza Bairos (Manuel). Cherished grandmother of Lisa Schaefer (Tyler) of Listowel and Manny Bairos (Melissa) of Caledonia and great-grandmother of Luka, Keira, Brooke and Dean. Survived by seven siblings. Predeceased by ten siblings. Serafina, came to Canada in 1960, with her husband and daughter from Piedade, Pico, Acores. She worked in the textile industry for many years as a seamstress and had a passion for sewing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Serafina's family will receive relatives and friends from 6: 00 p.m. - 9: 00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Prayers at 8: 30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church, 29 Midland Dr., Kitchener on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at 10: 00 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge followed by a reception in the church hall.
