Beloved wife of the late Alberto (2003). Leaves behind her brother, Silvino and sister Alzira in Portugal and sisters-in-law, Arminda and Hortencia. Dear mother of Carlos (Mary), Aurora (Mario), Rosa (Carlos), Horacio (Adelaide), Agostino (Paulina), Manny (Shawn) and Jorge (Natalie). Grandmother of Elizabeth (Jim), Robert (Keri), Carlos, Michael, Christine (Corey), Derek (Laurie), Amanda, Alice, Jenny, Steven (Nattie), Jessica, Melissa (Tyler), Matthew, Adelaide, Andrew, Julia, Aleesha, Sierra, Victoria, Vanessa and great-grandmother of Alyssa, Cameron, Desiree, Aaliyah, Christian, Cassandra, Nathan, Jacob and Aiden. Maria will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and her close friend, Maria Manuela, who visited her every week. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, October 3, 2010, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary to be recited on Sunday evening, at 8: 00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at Our Lady of Fatima R.C.
