  De SOUSA, Joao Amaral Passed away peacefully, at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge on Thursday, May 14, 2009, in his 82nd year. Beloved son of the late, Alberto and Henriqueta Sousa. Dear brother of Manuel Sousa and his wife Maria of Cambridge and Jose Amaral and his wife Cecilia of Cape Cod, U.S.A. Joao will be fondly remembered, by his niece and nephews. Predeceased by one sister, Maria Melo. Joao was born in Sao Miguel, Portugal and had been a resident of the area since, 1970. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Tuesday, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
