  HOLROYD, Frank Passed away peacefully, at St. Luke's Place on Friday, December 18, 2009, at the age of 91. Loving father of Doug and his wife Jill of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Janice Nevins and her husband Jim of Brampton. Lovingly remembered by four grandchildren; Amy, Nick, Mallory and Taylor. Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (nee Hudson), parents, Joseph and Harriett Emily Holroyd, sister, Emma LaCroix and brother, Charles Holroyd. Frank was a Second World War Veteran (1939-1944) with the Highland Light Infantry and long time member of Royal Canadian Legion #126, Preston. Forty year employee of Canadian Office and School Furniture. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, from 3-6 p.m., with a Legion Service, at 4 p.m. A private family service will be held at 6 p.m. Cremation.
