Loving mother of Laudalina, Maria, Margarida (Rafael), Noemia (Dave), Nomelia (Eduardo); loving grandmother of Anna, Peter, Tania, Matthew, Dennis, Victor, Grace, Michael, Stephanie, Kristen, Caitlin, Derek, David, Darren, Evan, Nicky and Lucas; loving great-grandmother of 14. Survived by her sister, Maria and by her brothers, Manuel, Antonio and Miguel and by daughter-in-law, Lucy. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Manuel Figueiredo; parents Anna and Manuel Machado, daughter, Anabela; sons, Jose Antonia and Victor; sons-in-law, Joe, Jose Manuel; brothers Jose and Joao; sister-in-law, Ilda and Emilia and her brother- in-law, Alvro. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street North, Cambridge, on Thursday, January 12, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary prayers will be recited at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be offered at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Chalmers Street South (at South Street) on Friday, January 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
