  MacKINNON, Alice (Owner and operator of Calvert Skin Care Clinic). The family of Alice MacKinnon (nee Calvert) sadly announce her passing, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, in her 59th year, following a courageous battle with cancer. Alice was the loving wife and companion of Allan; a devoted mother to Derek and his wife Laurie and Linsay and his wife Cathy and the doting grandmother of Kristin, Kayleen and Keith, Erinne and Edward. She was the daughter of Eileen and the late Edward Calvert and sister of Jack, Jim, Barb, Bill and Marilyn. Special thanks to the physicians and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Friends are invited to visit and share their memories with the family at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Alice's life, will take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, at 11 o'clock.
