    • MARSHALL, Ronald

      Passed away peacefully, at Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, September 8, 2011, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Doreen. Loving father of Keith Marshall, Paula Stewart (Glen) and Lorne Marshall (Lynne). Dearly loved grandfather of Morgan, Josh, Courtney, Rochelle, Stephen, Ryan and Nathan. Predeceased by five brothers and one sister, in England. Ron was a Veteran of World War Two, in the Merchant Navy. Immigrated to Canada in 1957 and worked for the Ontario Government as a Boiler Inspector until his retirement in 1983. Ron was a longtime resident of Cambridge and member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Preston) Branch #126. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, from 2 p.m., until Service time at the Funeral Home, at 3 p.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
