  McEWAN, Thomas Russell "Poppa Bear" Passed away peacefully, at Grand River Hospital K-W Health Centre, Kitchener on Friday, April 1, 2011, in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Janet McEwan (Kane). Loving father of Trevor and his wife Vi of Cambridge, Travis and his partner Sarah of Kitchener, also survived by his brother, Michael and his wife Yvette of Manitoba, Christine Armstrong (Brian) of Wasaga Beach, Patricia Thompson of Cambridge. Also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Elmira McEwan and a son, Todd. Thomas was born in Doon on June 10, 1947, an has lived in the area most of his life. A member of the Fresh Rain Fellowship. The family will received friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from Calvary Pentecostal Assembly, 127 Hespeler Road, Cambridge on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
