  MEDEIROS, Alvaro Suddenly, at his residence, on Friday, July 29, 2011, at 50 years of age. Beloved husband of Amanda. Loving father of Lisa (Nuno Ferreira), Kevin and Corey. Cherished grandfather of Ava. Dear son of Isaura Medeiros (predeceased by his father Manuel Luis Medeiros). Predeceased by his oldest sister, Alexandra Rego. Survived by his sister, Manuela Medeiros and brothers; Luis, Albil and Paul. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members in Açores. A Mass of Christian Burial, took place at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 1st at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Parklawn Cemetery. Cambridge Times 5 Aug 2011
