  MENDONCA, Jose Venceslau Suddenly, at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, December 4, 2009, at the age of 77. Jose leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 49 years Maria da Conceicao, son, Adalberto and his wife Cidalia, daughter, Graca (Emanuel), grandchildren, Vanessa (Josh), Ryan who lovingly called him Avo Sogro and little Hunter, who will miss his beloved Papa. Jose is survived by his sisters; Maria Beatrice Mendonca, Varela and Richardina Candida Mendonca, of Terceira Acores, Portugal. Jose, the youngest of five siblings came to Canada, in 1972. A few years later, founded M&M Landscaping, where he worked until he retired. Jose's love and passion for his work and the outdoors kept him working at the Garden Centre, where he spent most of his hours until the end. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, 53 Wellington St., Cambridge on Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Franjo Sprajc officiating. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
