Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at his residence on Saturday, April 16, 2011, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Marie of 52 years. Loving father of Yvonne Drover (Frank), Janice Braun (Rodney), and William (Krista). Grandchildren Allison, Angela, Dylan and Spencer. Also survived by brothers; Horace, Edward (Joan) and Stan, Brothers-in-law, Frank Souvard (Lorna), Varrick Cox (Linda), Gordon Hovencamp (Pearl), and sister-in-law, Emily (David), in-laws, Marlene Francis (Eugene), Joyce Crewe (Alex), Shirley Sooley (Bob), Robert Chapman (Elsie), many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Emma Morgan, his in-laws, William and Elfreda Chapman, brothers; Hubert, Harold, Wayne, Anthony, David, sisters; Doreen, Ruth, Lorna, Lynda, Pearl and Dulcie, grandson, Matthew Drover, sister-in-law, Helen Mahon (Patrick), Lillyan Morgan (Hubert), Sylvia Morgan (Horace), brother-in-law, John Locklyn (Ruth). Gordon was a 44 year member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 46 of Toronto. The family will receive friends at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from St. John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at 11 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery.
